I liked what I saw I could not hear the sound but my feelings indicate that you have something of interest to many people.

As a published author in the GLBT community, I found ‘It’s me, Matthew’ an extrodinary story with multiple traumas that keep the viewer rivited to the screen. I truly hope the real Matthew finds resolution and peace after all the horrific experiences he’s gone through. This film may be disturbing to many, but reality often deals many of those in our community harsh blows from which few truly recover. Just to write his story took unimaginable courage. As a survivor of childhood and adolecent abuse, I found the story most painful and was in tears through much of the film. I salute the real Matthew for his courage to share the story, make the movie, and to (I believe) play his own part. I would really like to meet and talk with this remarkable young man. I am pleased to know many of the staff that selected the films to be shown at the GLBT Film Festival in Durham, 2008, and I’m delighted they selected this short to be viewed.
