Carmella Cann

Michael Ferreira invented Carmella Cann in New York City in 2002. Carmella is known for being an outrageous, over the top, improv comedian and hostess. She has performed in many New York City Lounges including: Posh, Barracuda, XES, and The Duplex. Carmella in 2004, created the game show Who's On Top? which ran at Posh Lounge for almost two years, and the game show Sit "or" Spin! which ran at The View. On a serious note, Carmella has appeared in the role of the Maid in the play “Ring of Death” at Theater for The New City. Carmella’s screen credits include: Madonna impersonator in an A&E network Madonna Biography Special, ABC-TV commercial for The New York Comedy Festival, being interviewed on the cable television show The New Yorker, the film Voodoo which aired on channel 32 and was nominated for best short 2008 at the Pill Awards. Also, Carmella has had two guest appearances on The Ricki Lake Show and starred in the role of Tess Tickles in the independent Casper Andreas film A four Letter Word.
